Three pieces of Hayden news today (aren’t you lucky). She’s been speaking about her joy at being able to portray a cheerleader.

“I was so lucky to be popped into the cheerleader’s outfit. I was never a cheerleader because I left school at the age of 16, then I made a film in Africa and after that I was schooled at home.”

Digital Spy report that Hayden will also be fronting the latest “Got Milk” ad campaigns in the States.

The actress - who plays Claire Bennet in the hit NBC series - will appear in new print ads, which were shot in May by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The campaign begins on September 10 and urges youngsters to drink three glasses of low-fat or fat-free milk a day.
Panettiere, who celebrated her 18th birthday last week, wears a red dress and the famous milk moustache in the commercials, which show her holding an exploding glass of milk.

Ms Panettiere also appeared on Dave Letterman’s show on Monday and when asked what turning 18 means to her she said:

“I don’t think much changes when you’re 18 – maybe the way people treat you.

“But I think the only things I can do is buy cigarettes, porn and, if I get in trouble with the law, I’m kind of screwed.”

Indeed.
